FAQS
Imagine an evening of laughter, great conversation and your favourite food - all without the hassle of you having to plan, shop, prepare, cook and clean up afterwards...sounds tempting right?

Hiring me as your private chef ensures you get to enjoy as much time with your friends and family, eating fresh, often locally sourced food and spending absolutely zero time in the kitchen.

FAQs

-
How does hiring a private chef work?
I'll quote you a per person rate which includes the time and cost of planning, shopping, all ingredients, preparing and plating your chosen food, waiting staff, plus the clearing up afterwards. I ask for a 30% deposit upon booking, with the balance being due within 14 days of the booking.

2. Do you provide waitressing staff?
To ensure I deliver the best possible experience I always include waiting staff as standard. The number of staff needed will depend on the number of guests and courses.

3. Can you organise the décor and tablescaping for my dinner party or event?
I can work with you to design and decorate your table or venue, with crockery, cutlery and glassware hire also available if you wish. We will always dress the table upon arrival unless you wish to do this yourself.

4. How do I choose a menu?
I will work with you to identify any favourite dishes, ingredients, dietary requirements or allergies - with a focus on using seasonal and locally sourced produce whenever possible. I don't work on a set menu basis - every menu is designed bespoke for you and your guests.

5. Can you cater for allergies such as gluten, dairy and nuts?
I am able to prepare dishes free of all 14 known added allergens but please be aware that as food will be prepared in the same location as other foodstuffs which may contain these ingredients, I cannot guarantee the total absence of any of these allergens.
